Our Mission

To love and serve the Lord.
We pray for the strength and courage we need
to do God’s work in peace, with gladness and singleness of heart.
Through the grace of God, we will transform ourselves and our communities
by following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Our Values and Imperatives

Worship:

Worship is the center of our faith community, helping us to strengthen
our relationship with God and with each other in our daily lives.

In Worship we:
Proclaim the Gospel through preaching, music, liturgy, scripture readings and prayer.
Celebrate the Eucharistic sacrament of bread and wine together at God’s table.
Provide an environment where worshipers can experience both the presence of God
and the transcendent glory of his Spirit.
Pray for ourselves, our loved ones, our community, and our world.

Youth:

We are called to nurture our children through the Gospel
and show them God’s eternal love for them and all Creation.
We offer them an alternative vision of the human condition,
rooted in our continuing hope for the spread of God’s Kingdom in peace, love and faith.

Our work with young people includes:
Education – We provide a safe and nurturing environment for learning
age-appropriate lessons about God’s love and Christ’s mission to our world.
Music – We offer a spirited environment where music is embraced,
studied and celebrated as a gift from God.
Ministry – We challenge our youth to use their talents in the service
of God and others, both through church activities and in the community.

Discipleship:

Discipleship means answering God’s call to share His love with the world
in our daily lives, helping to transform both ourselves and our communities.

We grow in Discipleship through:
Formation programs, allowing ourselves to question,
ponder and struggle with the meaning of the Gospel, in the company of God and others.
Pastoral care and community life programs, bringing the healing ministry of Christ
to all members of the Parish, while building a strong and healthy Parish community.
Evangelism programs, to communicate the mission and ministry of this Parish
to a wider community, and invite others to join us. Outreach programs,
to help others in need and improve the world around us.
