On Sunday March 3, the Last Sunday after Epiphany, I shared with the congregation some of the struggles I have experienced since I had vocal cord augmentation surgery last December.
I spoke about my hope that I would continue to see improvement in my vocal production, experience less pain and fatigue from speaking, and find ways (with the help of others) to accommodate my limitations. Many of you expressed appreciation that I shared my experiences, and assured me of your love and support.
I am very grateful for that. I have also had several conversations with folks who want to help practically in reducing my vocal load - the amount of talking that is required of me on a daily basis.
This has been a tremendous help to me both physically and emotionally.
While I continue to recover and establish a sustainable vocal routine I am thankful for your support and prayers.
